My job would be a lot easier if all the Gryffindors were expelled. Will you all try to refrain from beating each other up? I know that most of you deserve it, I'm close to hexing you all to Salazar and back myself, but you are all as bad as each other. What is more, please refrain from attacking prefects.

Please make life easier for yourselves by just being boring. The Ravenclaws do an excellent job at that, the rest of you should follow their example. Or make like Potter and just run away.

For a compulsory dinner, the food wasn't even that good. Can't say much for the after dinner entertainment, either.

I thought I'd let Weasley have the snitch that time. It's called charity, heavens knows those Gryffindors need some of that. As for the rest of you, I am much too busy to read your brainless whining, good lord. Just be greatful their incompetence didn't get them all killed.

Is this childish phase with these journals really not over? I'm appalled. I found this morning rather dull, actually. I'm glad I was in a situation to keep things fair, or this whole thing would have gotten terribly out of hand. However, there was no reason for Hopkins to get as carried away as he did, and I'm sure that in time he will understand the reprocussions of his actions.
